The new life in Christ is such a beautiful blessing that fills a person with hope and expectancy. Most Christians start their walk with Christ with great faith and zeal, but sometime afterwards, many begin to see some old habits flare up that they seem to have no control over. Previous bad habits and negative mindsets may not only be rooted in the way we were brought up or the company we kept, but these negative personality and behavioral patterns may be linked to something more spiritual at the core.
In the study of the New Testament, Jesus spent approximately one-third of His ministry on earth setting free those held in spiritual bondage. By recognizing this, we see the need for the each believer to live a life free of demonic oppression, suppression, and depression. Therefore our Freedom Warriors are called to minister the wholeness of Jesus Christ in our body, soul, and spirit. And to break strongholds by the Word Of God and authority in Jesus name. (Ephesians 6:12). Freedom from depression and oppression is only available by the supreme power of Jesus Christ; only He can break the chains and set the captives free.
It is from the understanding stated above, that our Freedom ministry is a unique inner deliverance ministry aimed to get to the root of –point of entry– of what may be hindering you from entering into a deeper relationship with Jesus. During this time our ministry team will sit down with you in a private setting and guide you through the process of freedom and wholeness. This is not a counseling session-if counseling is needed then other ministry alternatives can be arranged. Instead, this a time of delayering the soul from demonic oppression and filling you back up with the experiential reality of who Jesus is, so that you can pursue and fulfill your complete calling and destiny as a child of God!

Hello Vanessa, I didn't get a chance to talk with you on Sunday when I saw you, I had to run out. Nonetheless, I want to say thank you to you, the team of people and Pastor for praying for me, and exhorting me that night. After I left I felt so light and free, I felt like a child excited and eager to see what was the next step or my journey going to look like. Well, it has been an interesting turn of events, I still struggle in some areas but I know I am being changed. I'm still walking on the pathway of deliverance.
Since that time God has been speaking to me daily training my ear to hear Him differently. He has begun the work of transforming what I believe a relationship with Him looks like to what He intends and what He wants a relationship with Him to look like. All these years I have been working to gain His approval and working to gain the approval of people not realizing that I'm allready accepted by Him. That's a major revelation to me. It's as if all this time I have been saved I knew nothing about true relationship with Him, I was saddened, shocked and yet hopeful too about that revelation. He reveals to redeem.
The days prior to Sunday God has been speaking to me about how I handle His money and how i speak to people and to come to service on Sunday and hear those two things be spoken about from the pulpit was mind blowing. I'm not sure what God is up to but I know He's up to something good.
I wanted to share this testimony with you all but public speaking is something I have a very difficult time doing.... I hate public speaking in all honesty but I wanted to share this testimony because of a dream that I had this morning that reflected the scripture that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
Didn't mean to be this long winded but thank you again to everyone for surrendering yourselves to be God's mouth piece, His hands, His feet. Thank you again!
Here are some frequently asked questions that we think might help you in understanding freedom ministry
Absolutely, as long as any saint is not walking in the fullness of the measure and stature of the Son of God, then this ministry is necessary.
YES. Have you ever met Christians with habitual problems, personality defects or chronic mental and physical illnesses? For many decades the modern church has come to realize the power of healing through the Holy Spirit and many sicknesses have indeed been healed. But Christians facing unending battles with anger, lust, addiction, greed, mental and emotional sicknesses have had their problems categorized as ‘the flesh’. By doing so the root problems of these believers have remained unchecked, and they continue to go about their daily lives getting more and more oppressed as the enemy keeps under the radar of the undiscerning. The apostle Paul made it clear to the Roman church that the flesh is crucified with Christ.
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. (Rom 6:6) And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Gal 5:24) The flesh indeed has been crucified with Christ and the lives we now live in our bodies are by faith in the Son of God (Gal.2:20). God doing all the work Himself has now given us a new nature (born again spirit in the image of Christ) – one that does not sin – but requires our obedience and participation in regaining the ground withheld by strongholds in our minds, will and emotions. The born again believer is engaged in the three tenses of time past, present and future, by mere fact that we are tripartite creatures. They are saved – past tense, being saved – present tense, and will one day be saved – future tense. Let me explain.
Born again believers are redeemed – past tense. This is in the realm of their spirits.
Born again believers are being redeemed – present tense. This is in the realm of their souls.
Born again believers are going to be redeemed – future tense. This is in the realm of the body.

No, Sozo ministry makes no room at all for demonic oppression. This is because of the theological error mentioned above. To deny the affect of demonization on believers is already game over as far as full freedom is concerned, as the enemy keeps in the darkness working havoc while the saints are being devoured. It is our conviction that Sozo is not a Biblically based ministry method and therefore is not productive to the saints full freedom and walking in wholeness. Rather, this form of ministry -- as with many other forms presenting themselves in today's modern church -- is based on a new age method called "theophistic editing". In new way does TORCC endorse or practice sozo as it is a direct contradiction of scripture. If you would like to know more information then we encourage you to speak to one of our ministry leaders during your appointment.
Statements regarding Sozo and it's practices:
TORCC churches have been active in Freedom and Wholeness ministry for over thirty-five years. Our freedom ministry was trained and equipped by one of the main father's of the deliverance movement within the church, Win Worley. For over 35 years our teams have been effectively apart of setting people free in the Name of Jesus and have ministered to thousands on every continent.
1. Where is deliverance in the Bible?
In the four Gospels, one third on Jesus’ ministry on earth was casting out demons. Basically, Jesus preached the gospel, healed the sick and cast out the evil spirits that were oppressing the people.
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, (Matt.8:16)
Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him. (Mar 1:34)
On many occasions demonization was connected to various sicknesses and conditions such as epilepsy, deafness, mute, fever and mental illness. The continued Helenization of the modern world and the over emphasis of intellectualism above God’s Word has led our societies to reject the spiritual realm almost altogether. Sicknesses, whether physical or mental are seen as biological or biochemical imbalances rather then rooted in spirituality. Jesus would not medicate the mentally ill or write a script to deal with sickness. He would do exactly what He did when He was on earth – lay hands for impartation of healing or forcefully cast out demonic infestations.

When those areas of torment in our lives are no longer dictating the way we think or feel, and we are genuinely living the word and not just hearing the word, we have been delivered in that area. Many times physical healing accompanies freedom. The barrage of ‘voices’ pushing us stops. We can breathe and rest and our sleep becomes sweet. Our interactions with people -even our enemies changes. They no longer get the advantage of controlling us.
No, little by little we regain what our souls have been deprived of. The Lord told Moses, “Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.” (Ex.23:30). Like Israel of old, our land of promise is guaranteed, bit in need of liberation. It is a day by day process.
All of our freedom and healing ministers volunteer their services to the Body of Christ. The prophets and Jesus both received offerings of support for their ministries. Mega churches may have an advantage financially to offset wages for full or part time staff. The disadvantage of this is that some may begin to see the ministry as a job and not a calling. Smaller churches rely on the voluntary services of its members to do the work of the ministry as an offering to God. A suggested donation is not mandatory, but encouraged as a way to say thank you to our volunteers for making the grace of God available to you.
A Prep is a meeting that precedes the deliverance. During the session the ministers asks the individual about their background or about current matters of concern. As series of questions are asked by the minister that may reveal certain key entry points of demonic oppression. This helps the ministers focus their attention on these areas so that less time is wasted. A Prep also helps determine whether deliverance or healing is the best avenue of grace for each individual.
